Faculty Member, Christian Studies
Assistant Professor of Biblical Studies
About
I teach introductory courses in Old and New Testament, Greek, Hermeneutics, Research Methods, and upper division courses on Early Judaism, the Dead Sea Scrolls, and various NT books. Occasionally I teach graduate courses on Christian theology or Mormonism during J-term or summer sessions at other institutions. I love teaching, enjoy spending time with my students, and genuinely like most of my colleagues. The focus of my research and writing centers on a handful of topics within biblical studies, theology, and philosophy of religion.
